Our academy was founded in 2010 by renowned Chicago theater director, Eleanor Vance, with the vision of creating a space where actors of all backgrounds and experience levels could thrive. Eleanor, a graduate of Northwestern University's School of Communication, has directed countless productions at prestigious theaters across the city, including the Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and Lookingglass Theatre Company. Her commitment to excellence and her passion for nurturing talent are at the heart of everything we do at Veridian Acting Academy.
At Veridian, we emphasize a holistic approach to acting, integrating techniques from Stanislavski, Meisner, and Strasberg to develop well-rounded performers. Our curriculum covers a wide range of disciplines, including scene study, improvisation, voice and speech, movement for actors, and on-camera acting.
